This is a natural fruit pod (called a mahogany bean). Pods vary from 3" - 4" in length and 1" to 1.5" in diameter since they are natural.

We do have an option to pre-drill holes for the pods if you are making toys.

Please note that mahogany pods are only safe for birds and not small animals

Got this as a free add on and my budgie LOVES it

Ordered some sprouters and this was added in as an extra. I didn't know what it was but I left it in the cage. Came back to find it shredded on the floor. My budgie loves to tear it apart.

Favorite toy!

She will chew at this for hours. She's whittled down almost a whole pod now. It keeps her beak in nice condition.

My birds love these pods but they do get chewed and broken into pieces very quickly.

Safe to eat?

My quaker loves it. But he seems to be eating it as well as playing with it. Is it safe for him to eat?

Cool pod

It came as a gift, so I wasn't sure what it was but my Parrot seem to know, he went right to it and started pecking at it. He seems to really enjoy it

I didn't know what these were, but I'm so glad I got some. The budgies are destructive and love tearing them apart.

A Parakeets Favourite

My parakeets love the mahogany pods. When I string them together with other foraging toys, the pods are the first thing they have fun chewing up.
