Cozy Roost Heat Panels are perfect for our cold Canadian winters! These panels are energy efficient and reliable.

Thee heat panels are designed to mount at the side of your parrots cage. The surface temperature of the heat panel will range from a safe 160-180 degrees (F). It is designed to warm the animal, not the environment and maintains the ideal comfort level for your animals. The temperature will not exceed 160-180 degrees and will not burn your birds. For additional safety measures, the Cozy Roost heat panel has a thermal control to insure heaters turn off automatically when heat is not allowed to escape.

All of the materials we use in the heat panel are completely safe. The lens material is common fiberglass fire rated sheeting used in homes and the food industry. The shell is ABS styrene material (think refrigerator linings, toys, and other molded products). The insulation is a noncombustible EcoTouch Insulation utility blanket. The ODOR that is noted on a new heater is from the escalated final drying of the lens material (fiberglass and adhesives) as the heat is applied. The odor is normal and will go away as the new materials dry out. Very close examination of the lens sometimes reveals small hairline cracks that are created as the lens dries as well as browning of the lens over time. This is normal and expected. Please ensure to plug in your heat panel away from your birds cage until the odor is not present.

Heat Panel

Works really nicely. Thought my bird would be scared of it (I mounted it to the outside of cage) but he didn’t take long to w a r m...up to it lol. I have a moustache parakeet so I ordered the mini size which is perfect for his size.

Great addition for the colder months

This panel is very useful during winter. It provides a comfortable warm spot for my parrots to snuggle. Their cage is against an outside wall and it gets a bit cool during the colder months. The mini heat panel is quite large and the size is perfect for my 2 green cheek conures. I love that it can be mounted on the wall or outside the cage as opposed to the K&H Snuggle Up Bird Warmer. I use mine with a smart plug to have it run on a schedule during the day and automatically shut off when my birds go to bed in their other cage.

Just buy it!

One of my absolute favorite products I have bought for my conure. I will be buying another for my canaries as well. We get sometimes -40 winters where I live and this heat panel has been a life saver. Tiki sleeps right next to it at night on his swing, when I take him out of his cage in the morning his feet are toasty warm

So Handy!

So I Love my AC in the summer & was worried about my GCC. We weren't sure what to do- but this was the perfect solution! She has her warmth & I have my cool house. The mini is surprisingly large, but she can easily get away from it if she wants to. Very satisfied. The brackets to mount it to the side of the cage are much better than putting it in my walls. Very happy with this & will use it for her in the winter now too. Very happy!
