Our most popular item by far. This super nutritious, low energy (calorie) chop is 100% vegetables and changes somewhat during different growing seasons as we try to use seasonal, locally sourced veggies whenever possible. Our base mix consists of broccoli, green beans, red bell peppers, carrots, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, green bell pepper, celery, savoy cabbage, zucchini, corn, peas and cauliflower. We will then add veggies as they become available. Our chop is dehydrated making it shelf stable and can be prepared in single servings for less waste.

Size Large yields 4.5-5 cups, Small yields 2-2.5 cups

I bought this dry chop mix because of the pandemic. Decided to cover myself just in case fresh wouldn’t be available at some point. I like the product, my boys do eat some of it, which is a good thing. I do soak it longer than 3 minutes in order to get the moisture back into the veggies. It is quick and easy specially if someone is rushing and doesn’t have the time to do fresh from scratch. I purchased the “large” bag at $33.00. I was a bit surprised when I received it, I found the bag to be small, under 300 grams. Thought $33.00 and it’s not even organic. A little pricey if you ask me. Would really like if the mix was packaged in a resealable bag. :)

Great chop. Kinda pricey

This chop is my hahns macaws favourite chop so far that I’ve tried! Only thing is I might not buy it again because the « Large » bag is really small, and it is really expensive. I thought for 32$ I was getting a big bag that would last me a few months. But it’s just a little bag. I’ll have to see how long it lasts me to see if it was worth the money! So far my Freddie boy says it is but my wallet says no. In the picture I have used the bag for 3 weeks now. So it’s about half full now. Just for size reference.

High Quality

Very high quality - my DYH 'zon isn't a big fan of this yet, as I'm experimenting with these foods for him. Stellar ingredients, re-hydrates well and is very healthy. Use as a snack or a meal - everything in here is great.

Fantastic chop and so easy!

Luna, our baby brown headed parrot, loves this chop mix! She came to us on an all seed diet, but took to this chop right away! Such a great mix and you can be sure your bird is getting all the nutrition they need. Definitely recommend!

Good choice for budgies&parrotlets

I got this to add some variety from the usual morning chop without creating a lot of extra work. My budgies and parrotlet really enjoy this! Simple and not too time consuming to get it ready to feed them. Looking forward to trying out the other varieties too!
