Christine's Chop Shop - Chop Shop Daily Maintenance Small Birds - Small, Large

I have added these to my three budgies dry food (Harrison's pellets with seeds as a treat from time to time). The mix smells fresh and yummy. There are different types of veggies and legumes in the bag so it is very enriching. Even if the birds don't eat the chop, they certainly look through it! My budgies are still getting used to this chop (they generally take awhile to get used to things) but I really like it. It seems to be high quality so I will continue to offer it to them. Some of the food chunks are quite large for their little beaks, so I might try crushing the pieces as well. Would recommend!

I don’t typically write product reviews, but this one is a must. My lovely little parrotlet is extremely fussy, especially when it comes to fruits & veggies. I decided to order a sample of this dried chop, hoping it would be a way to get more fruits & veggies into Lola’s diet. I put a bit into a bowl expecting it would take Lola a wk or 2 before she’d even go near it. I was truly shocked when Lola started nibbling on this chop within minutes! It’s been 3 days now & this chop is now Lola’s favourite food. Wish I’d ordered it sooner. Quick note: because Lola is tiny, I have quickly run this chop thru a small food processor to make the bits more suitable for Lola’s small beak.

I love the fact that there are pre-made, easy options that I can give my birds for added variety. My tiels tend to be picky, but they started eating this mix right away. It is a good variety and a great substitute as a snack or when I don't have time to prepare something fresh.

A main stay in our home. Every day, my two tiels get a bit of this added to their seed mix. They really love it all, except the peas..I don't understand my birds but for some reason, they do not like peas at all..LOL. That's ok, they eat the rest of it. It smells very fresh when you open the bag.
