Busy Bird - Busy Barrel

My grey and scarlet macaw love this toy. I attached it outside my grey's cage and as soon as one is playing with it, the other joins in. The colours capture the attention, my macaw grinds his beak on everything and nothing has been damaged yet! Hiding a treat inside makes everything worth it :-)

I bought this because absolutely no foraging toy is complicated enough for my mechanical girl. This I think will be the one though that will take her a while to figure out. I don’t like the bolt that connects it to the cage however, so that is why I took off one star. It is too long, and causes the toy to stick out too far into the cage. Instead I connected a chain to the eyebolt so that I can hang it anywhere in the cage. She was already trying to figure it out while I was connecting the chain, so I have No doubt that this will keep her busy for quite a while. I am going to load it up tomorrow for her, hopefully it takes her more than about 10 minutes to figure out.
