This wheel is a favorite with highly active and clever parrots

Birds must use the knob to turn cover plate and expose food items within each chamber To release the wheel from the bracket, pull down latch on the bottom of the bracket, raise cover plate and unhook at the top; wheel is then free Unscrew cover plate and fill the chambers; put cover plate back on, hook the wheel on the top, pull down and secure to the bracket by pressing the bottom latch inward until it snaps closed Will keep your bird happily engaged for several hours

To encourage a bird to keep working the wheel, fill each chamber with a different type of food

Suitable for small to medium sized birds such as conures, small cockatoos etc

Great wheel!

The wheel itself is a bit large for my green cheek conure but the holes are the perfect size for him to get his beak in for treats. He hasn't figured it out yet but he's working on it. One star off because the nut and bolt are a little finicky and some treats fall out when the wheel is being spun.

Parrot Family Member

Both Tequila the Blue and Gold Macaw and Skye the Congo African Grey LOVE their foraging wheels. With five (5) compartments, we can fill them each with different pellets and treats and they can tell us what they prefer.

amazing vendor and product

My blue and gold macaw just love this foraging wheel. The quality is great. He's love going on his cage only for play with the wheel. Unfortunately when I receive the wheel the translucide plastic attach piece was missing but I send a email to the vendor and she fixed it really quick!
