Years ago I bought Sandy Perches, and all my birds have loved them, but they have since become less available. There are a few similar products but both my birds really preferred the Sandy Perch ones, but when I saw this I thought it might be the thing I was looking for! It's super stable in the cage as it has two bolts, it's nice and flat and it's also a great texture for wiping a messy beak after breakfast or having a drink of the water bottle. Just he sure that you use the washers between the bars and secure the perch really well, which is easy to do with the long bolts, this perch is very heavy and could cause injury if it shifted or fell

Surprisingly sturdy

I was skeptical about the weight being too much for the washers and nuts on our prevue cage. Solid as a rock (; and has naturally filed our birds nails and beak down.

Became my cockatiels favorite perch!

I put it in his cage and it quickly became his favorite perch! I'm not too sure if it helps with their nails at this point, but I love how easy it is to clean and you don't have to worry about mold!

AMAZING!

This perch is awesome. My birdies file down their beaks and nails naturally. I use it also as a base for them to stand on when using the birdie butler.

Beautiful perch

The stone is a heavy, beautiful piece, and despite the weight, extremely stable and secure when mounted in the cage. It's clearly very well made, and my green cheeks are very comfortable on it!
